Kaleigh Perez

My name is Kaleigh Perez. I am a masters student at the University of Chicago working towards a degree in creative writing. Currently, I help run an organization on campus called the Music Forum. This is an organization for musicians to collaborate with each other. During my time with the Music Forum, I have worked with other members to write album reviews as well as create a space for musicians to work together. I have been an enjoyer of music for as long as I can remember. In previous years, I have picked up bass, guitar, piano, flute, and singing. I have always said that my dream job would be to listen to music and talk about it. I am ecstatic to get to write for mxdwn and to continue speaking on my love for music.
